I wanna ask your opinion..well I just went to my structured interview last week with Petronas. Since I am just fresh graduate…is it okay for me to send thank you letter to hr for the interview session?

how long I need to wait until I know that I succeed or not?

Now, I got an offer as a Analyst @ 1 of da Bank’s investment mngmt, recommended by Bank’s CEO. But, da story I want to tell u guyz dat yesterday I made a personnal appoinment with “Head of Petronas Group Treasury”, Pn Noraini Che Dan and I told her dat I really want to join Petronas under Investment Department (currently managing RM30 billion worth of investments !!). To my surprised, she was impressed and really looked forward for me to work under her unit. Above all, she asked for my resume and she said dat she willing to help me to get into Petronas.

Harapkan HR, smpai kiamat aku tak dpt response. Nasib baik ader Pn. Noraini yg murni. Fuhh..!!! Badan die mmg hot, solid, mantap. First time jumpa kat office die, pakai kebaya ketat tak hingat. Mate aku pun meliar liar ntah kemana, hahaha… Easy to say, she’s really a very nice person and I’m happy dat I met her (tunggu 4 bulan juz nak bt appoinmnt ngan die) So, juz nak share ngan korang semua, my story. Mungkn sbb pengalmn aku buat sales kat tepi jalan, tu sbb muka aku jd tak tau malu jumpa org. Dgn CEO bank pun aku boleh ajak keluar lunch…. Yg penting mesti ader gud A.P. ‘A’ stance for – Attitude, ‘P’: Personality, and always have a good thoughts!! . Nevertheles, I’ve got to get thru all da interviews…. hopefully, my dream will come true – becoming a Fund Manager!

bro.. thank for sharing good info here. At least boleh membuka ruang kepada meraka dia luar sana.. tak semua perlu melalui HR untuk bekerja kan, ada cable baik punya dah boleh join.. satu pengalaman yang menarik.. apa-apa pun bab kain ketat tu piwetttt.. tu yg duk baca ulang kali tu hahahahah

hee…your blog is interesting and very helpful for those who’s planning to go for PETRONAS’ interview..well done eddrya…=)

anyway, i am one of the PETRONAS staff…it is true for engineering field, you may need to have more than seven years experiences in order to be recruit as PETRONAS staff..it is not that easy to be one of PETRONAS staff as my concern if you dont have good communication instead of excellent academic background..yeah its true..but it doesnt mean that HARD if you give a try right?? who knows your luck..hehehe…being here is very grateful…=)

well, my advice for all..
it would be easy for you if you get the right address of which division you want to apply..there’s a lot division here and have their own HR before they proceed with HR centre..regarding the late of offering letter, it is normal for here due to many stages for HR to go through…hehehe..even u’re a dip holder, dont be afraid to give a try since there still have position for dip holder..but you have to apply right position..hehe..
