Cerewet! Memang cerewet.

Mungkin telah ditakdirkan sikap mereka begitu. Mungkin dari azali lagi mereka ni c.e.r.e.w.e.t. Kalau ada jantan yang slow, yang berkira-kira, yang banyak songel ni biasanya kita dengar orang akan kaitkannya dengan perempuan, cerewet macam perempuan. Bukan aku kata, orang kata.

Soal memilih pasangan hidup, pun cerewet. Nak yang hensem, yang ada kereta, yang kerja best-best, ada rumah besar, ada yang itu yang ini. Seorang kawan perempuan yang aku kenal sampai hari ni masih belum berbopren sebab nak cari bakal suami seorang architect atau engineer yang kaya. Umur dah melebihi 30 tapi masih ada hati mau demand. Itu memilih namanya, bukan memilih untuk mencari suami yang baik dari yang tak baik. Mari kita bandingkan dengan lelaki, rupa paras wanita dah jadi no 2, yang penting baik, beriman dan mampu menjalankan urusan rumahtangga. Kalau dia dah berkenan dengan seorang perempuan tu, dia jumpa mak bapak perempuan tu, melamar, bertunang dan terus kahwin. Mudah jer.

Perempuan kalau gi shopping, masa itu lah kalau nak kenal cerewetnya perempuan. Belek itu belek ini. Nak beli pengetip kuku pun abis round satu shopping complex. Itu belum kira nak beli sepasang kasut lagi kan. Berbanding dengan lelaki, nampak jer pengetip kuku umpamanya, terus bayar. Abis cerita, banyak lagi masa yang boleh digunakan untuk kerja-kerja yang lebih berfaedah dari pusing satu complex sekadar nak window shopping! Betul tak gang-gang mesyuarat tingkap semua?

Itu tak kira lagi camana cerewetnya mereka memilih kain langsir. Nak match dengan kaler floor tiles lah, wall panel colour lah.. aduhai. Corak bunga besar tak mau nak bunga kecik, yang ada manik-manik lah.

Lelaki kalau diajak keluar ke bandar, contohnya. Pakai seluar, sarung baju, buka pintu rumah cari selipar, hidupkan engine kereta ON kan air con. Siap. Tak sampai 5 minit. Perempuan, mak aii.. cari anak tudung, cari baju kecik seluar kecik nak match dengan kaler yang dia pakai, duk depan almari baju kaler mana nak match dengan kain ka dengan seluar ka pakai tudung herot situ herot sini dah 5 minit, gincu campur bedak lagi, bergaya dengan cermin lagi, eh sempat lagi basuh pinggan, duduk depan rak kasut duk pikir mana kasut nak pakai. Aduh saleha.. setengah jam paling cepat. Itu pun tak kira anak-anak yang nak ikut sekali. Jangan marah.

Kalau kita nak list kan perkara-perkara cerewet seorang perempuan tu, mungkin memerlukan lebih banyak ruang di blog ni, jadi untuk tidak merugikan space yang ada ni, kita beri 2-3 contoh jer lah. Terlalu banyak kecerewetan mereka sebenarnya.

Namun anugerah cerewet ini lah sebenarnya sesuai dengan perempuan bila kita lihat kejadian yang Tuhan jadikan mereka ni perlu dengan sifat-sifat cerewet ni, nantilah kita sambung lagi. Nanti kita lihat kenapa cerewet itu perlu ada pada wanita…

Alhamdulillah.. a few months after the technical interview and phone interview.

I received a phone called from somebody at Petronas Carigali. He asked if I like to join Petronas Carigali bla bla and bla. I asked what is the offered position, location and also bla bla bla. Make it short lah, the pre-offer letter will be email to me.

I checked my email, yes there was the pre-offer letter which stating my name, the offered position, the name of the department, the basic salary and standard Benefits Package which part of the Employment Contract.

Location : KLCC … why must KL? I hate to live in KL mannn.

Anyway, this offer is subjected to the medical clearance by the Petronas Health Advisor and also the Security Screening result from the Malaysian Royal Police.

I need to revert to them my decision within ten (10) days from the date of that email. If I fail to respond within the deadline, they will deem that I do not accept the offer.

10 days… 10 days.. 10 days..

So how.. what is my decision?

There is a lot of things in my head that I must think before I decide to take the challenge. I can say that the salary is much better than what I am getting now, the benefits, the position and the future are also much much better than current one. But why KL?

I am thinking of my kids. Yes my two notty daughters. They will only can see me once a week, or by fortnightly..

I know I am bored. But sometimes I don’t think I am bored, but then, I don’t care if I am, because I have so many things to do. And because I have so many to do I am bored.

Cool I am bored like hell..

Let me tell you another one of my boring stories. I love my current job but these days it seems so boring, I am really not sure if I should try at something new or just carry on hoping that things get better.

Actually working here is OK especially when this work is in my area of interest plus the fact that I earn enough money to support my family but sometimes I get bored of doing the same thing everyday.

I work in the operation department as a workpack engineer cum surveyor. Usually work with oil and gas client, sub-contractors, suppliers and offshore crews. I receive the work request from client once a week or twice a week and what I have to do is to study the isometric drawings and then pass to draughtman to prepare the material take off.

He will then return me the drawings and material take off. I open the contract rate booklet and calculate the price for manpower, equipment, consumable and materials. Compile them and submit to the boss for approval. My boss normally doesn’t ask anything. .. yawnnn!

Once client approves my proposal, we start the work. Updates here, updates there, updates everywhere .. monitoring the work from start to finish. If there is a problem at offshore, fly there if neccassary, if not just monitor from office. That’s all. So doing those things repeatedly every day make them not so exciting anymore.

It’s pretty cool and rilex job, I got so much time for blogging like this, but for how long I wanna stay like this, I wonder!

I wish that I can get more exposure in this field.

Everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes done by us can be caused by us ourselves or by third parties. In general, human beings are easily led by their self esteem and self defence to blame others around them for the mistakes they have committed.

The only solution to this is to find way for us to accept sole responsibility for our mistakes, learn from the incident, forgive ourselves and get on with lives, without severing any relationship we may already have with other or any third party.

Lets forgive and move on.. actually there are no mistakes, only lessons.

If someone asks you if he/she look good, and he/she really doesn’t, should we tell he/she so that he/she won’t be embarrassed? People need to know the truth whether they like it or not ya.

Lets go further, a man stole someone’s watch. If I been asked by the man who lost his watch, should I tell the truth that he has stolen his watch?

Right.

The real case now, an investigator came and wanted to investigate someone’s corruption. Its about abuse of power and company money. Should I tell the truth that this man has abused the trust of his management, misconduct and corruption?

If I tell the truth he might be dismissed, but if I can’t tell the truth means he can still be in the company. He might not learn the lesson.

I believe that the truth will prevail even though we tell the truth or not.. ha ha ha.

An office joke from internet

There were four people named
Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and

This is about teamwork.. what teamwork actually mean is if an individual can’t finish the job on time, then only we need teamwork. Fark la!

Mmm.. Nyanyian dari penjara. Aku rasa ramai orang yang dah dengar lagu ni. Aku tak pasti tentang kebenaran cerita orang di mana si lelaki tersebut telah dikenakan hukuman mati di atas kesalahannya membunuh suami kepada bekas girlfriendnya.

Dan sebagai permintaan terakhirnya sebelum dia dijatuhkan hukuman mati, dia telah mencipta satu lagu yang liriknya ditulisnya sendiri. Lagu ini, Nyanyian Dari Penjara dikatakan suara asal lelaki tersebut.

Aduhai.. ada pula yang menyatakan ianya adalah hasil dari seorang komposer terkenal di Malaysia, well malas nak gaduh-gaduh tapi anyway dia punya lirik dan melodynya.. syahdu abisss.

Itu lah bercinta hingga tak de batasan jiwa raga.. sakit bang.. sakit.. Bila dah terjadi tragedi macam ni, bermacam-macam lah orang punya ulasan dan tohmahan. Salah orang tu salah orang ni, orang tu curang orang ni tak setia lah.

Bila ada 2 orang berchenta, berjanji setia itu ini sehidup semati, ku nanti mu di pintu syurga dan bla bla bla..

Bila salah seorang tarik diri, tak kira lah apa sebabnya dah jumpa orang lain ka, tak serasi ka, mak ayah tak restu ka, tak sekufu ka atau apa-apa lah biasanya salah seorang tu akan kechewa punyalah.

Bila tang kechewa itu lah yang boleh membuat orang bertindak melampaui batasan hingga lah sampai bertindak membunuh. Pasal apa dia orang sanggup buat itu semua, kena kaji balik tekanan emosi yang di hadapi oleh orang-orang seperti ni. Sebab apa orang bergaduh kerana chenta, berperang kerana chenta membunuh kerana chenta.

Ada yang sanggup bunuh diri minum racun kerana kechewa, why.. why.. think about it.
