Successfully shortlisted for PETRONAS

WOW!

I’ve been shortlisted for Petronas. But in order to proceed the next steps, they require me to complete the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) which will provide them more information about myself. The purpose of such assessment is to enable a better appreciation of my personality preferences for mainly selection and job matching purposes.

What I need to do is go to SHL website and complete this questionnaire. Actually the questionnaires were more to personality questionnaire and test of my abilities.

Please pray for the job interview I went on 26th October 2007.

    Hi,

    I just went for 1st interview at Petronas job related to OPI(Operating Performance Improvement), i have been informed that i was shortlisted and HR will call me for the 2nd interview where i will get the assesment also/?

    Pls let me knw how the assesment like?
    I heard its kinda long time to wait for 2nd interview. How long that can b?

    Did they require you to complete the OPQ after the 1st or 2nd interview?

    Thanks Eddyra for your info in the blog…now i found that it can stretch to month before we were selected to work with petronas…

    i apply the job through jobstreet sms notification (totally luck coz i don’t have experience in OnG) about end november 2009 and i went to the 1st interview on middle December 2009… 2nd interview (structural interview) were early Jan 2010 with SHL OPQ test together(i do OPQ in home) but i didn’t do the other test like this:

    2- Questionaire 1
    25 question within 5 minutes

    3- Questionaries 2
    88 questions within 5 minutes

    4- Questionaires 3
    True, False and Cannot Say

    5- Questionaires 4
    Mathematical questionaires,

    They said you don’t need to do it for experience candidate but i believe you have more experience than me:)

    I felt i do the best i could in my interview/try to sell myself anyhow i’m lack of confidence they will select me because i’m totally in difference industry. it has been almost 2 week after the interview and but still no news..Pray hard to this :)
