A crane-carrying vessel collided with an oil tanker off of South Korea’s west coast on 07/12/2007 , causing more than 66,000 barrels of crude oil to spill in what was believed to be South Korea’s largest offshore oil leak.

Officials at the Maritime and Fisheries Ministry, citing Coast Guard reports, initially said about 110,000 barrels had leaked from the Hong Kong-registered tanker. But the Coast Guard later said additional information indicated the amount was significantly lower - about 66,043 barrels.

Terbaru seorang fitter telah diarahkan balik rumah (demob) from offshore, platfrom XXX, sebelah Terengganu offshore.

Dari cerita yang disampaikan, fitter ni bekerja dengan menggunakan hand drill tanpa memakai safety goggle. Kebetulan pada masa tersebut seorang client lalu di kawasan fitter ni sedang bekerja.

Akibatnya, fitter tersebut di arahkan demob, dan kemungkinan besar akan di banned dari menjejakkan kaki ke platform itu lagi.

Aduii.. itu lah, safety first!

So sekarang siapa yang susah, diri sendiri juga yang susah.
