22 sites, blogs investigated by MCMC
June 2nd, 2008 by eddyra on BlogMalaysian Deputy Energy, Water and Communications Minister told that 22 websites and blogs have been investigated by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for airing false, pornographic and baseless allegations.
The problem is most of the blogs and websites are being operated using platforms from overseas and the efforts to obtain evidence necessary for action often come to a dead end.
It’s main advantage for blogger using free blog site such as blogspot, wordpress etc where government cannot control the content. So the freedom of blogging is up to the blogger’s hand. That’s why most anti government blogger uses this kind of blog site.
I am very sure mine is not of them..
