Guyana voting process

In the voting process, electors will be required to dip the first joint of their right index fingers in indelible ink. In the past, some persons had claimed to be able to completely wash off the indelible ink from their fingers. This will not be possible at the 2006 elections because the indelible ink to be used is of such improved strength that, no matter how hard one tries, one cannot completely wash it off.

Further, the wet ink on their finger tips will not be wiped off as has been the practice in past elections. Before electors are allowed to vote, their fingers will be examined for traces of indelible ink. If traces of indelible ink are found on an elector’s fingers, it will be presumed that he/she had already voted and will not be allowed to vote again. Subsequently, he/she will be subjected to questioning, and possibly, be arrested immediately.

A leap year is a year in which an extra day is added to the calendar in order to synchronize it with the seasons. 2008 is a leap year, which means that it has 366 days instead of the usual 365 days that an ordinary year has. An extra day is added, February 29, which is called an intercalary day or a leap day.

Leap Year is announced by that last day of February that only appears every four years. Leap Year has been around for thousands of years. February usually has 28 days, but during Leap Year 29. Why is there a February 29th?

Julius Caesar first created Leap Year in 46 B.C. so that the calendar year would match the solar year. The solar year, or the amount of time it takes the earth to travel around the sun, is about 365.2422 days. The extra .2422 creates an entire extra day every four years.

Rules for Determining a Leap Year
Most years that can be divided evenly by 4 are leap years.
For example, 2008 divided by 4 = 502: Leap year..

Aku tak arif dalam percaturan politik tetapi kejadian demostrasi ini pertama kali berlaku di zaman aku, mungkin dah banyak kali berlaku dulu tapi aku tak tahu.

Adakah ini gimmick, strategy atau betul-betul berlaku.

Amacam.. best tak rasa ayam katok? Wahaha..

KUALA LUMPUR: Timbalan Pengarah Jabatan Kebudayaan, Kesenian, Pelancongan dan Sukan, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), Zainuddin Md Zin, semalam memfailkan kira-kira RM5 juta terhadap tiga pembekal dan penjual ayam, termasuk Tesco Stores (Malaya) Sdn Bhd kerana menjual ayam yang tidak disembelih.

Zainuddin, 55, menamakan Perak Duck Food Industries Sdn Bhd, CKL Marketing Sdn Bhd dan Tesco sebagai defendan pertama, kedua dan ketiga dalam saman yang difailkan menerusi Tetuan M K Othman & Co di Pejabat Pendaftaran Mahkamah Tinggi Jalan Duta, di sini.

Beliau dalam tuntutannya memohon ganti rugi khas, termasuk kos pembelian ayam, kos perbelanjaan makan dan minum bagi pertemuannya dengan wakil dari Perak Duck Food Industries Sdn Bhd dan kos bagi menghadiri pemeriksaan di Bahagian Hab Halal Jabatan Agama Islam Malaysia (Jakim) di Cyberjaya.

Sehari dua ni TV3 duk focus kat Terengganu, berkenaan dengan kejadian mencabut atau merosakkan bendera BN/UMNO di Dungun pada 17hb Feb 2008. TV3 kata 4000 bendera BN/UMNO dah di tumbangkan oleh penyokong PAS. Aku terbaca dari laman web tranungkite.net yang menceritakan apa yang berlaku di sebalik kejadian tersebut. Kalau menurut lawan web tersebut, memang SAH itu perbuatan penyokong PAS. Bermakna dakwaan TV3 adalah benar bahawa kejadian tersebut di lakukan oleh penyokong PAS.

Namun pada pandangan aku, di ulangi, pada pandangan aku, sesuatu itu tidak akan berlaku tanpa sebab, dan mesti ada sebabnya. Tak kan penyokong PAS tidak berfikir baik buruk perbuatannya itu akan mendatangkan keburukan pada parti. Mesti ada yang berlaku terlebih dahulu sebelum kejadian itu berlaku.

Kejadian di Kemaman 18hb Feb 2008, location pasar Chukai jam 3.30 petang, aku rasa TV3 tak siar scene ni. Kejadian berlaku sehari selepas MB Terengganu menghadiri majlis MCA di kawasan yang berhampiran dengan pasar tersebut. Dua penyokong parti bertembung iaitu PAS dan UMNO membanjiri kawasan pasar Chukai. Majlis Perbandaran Kemaman telah datang untuk menurunkan bendera parti atas arahan ‘pihak atasan’.

Penyokong PAS naik berang apabila mengetahui hanya bendera PAS sahaja yang akan diturunkan.. hahaha. Maka terdengarlah suara cabar mencabar antara mereka. So pada pandangan aku, kalau nak buang bendera-bendera perang tu, buang ler dua-dua sekali bang, orang pun tak bising. Akhirnya MPK blah cam tu jer, dan keadaan bendera-bendera tersebut kekal cam tu, keadaan kembali aman.

TV3 jam 8.00, 19hb Feb 2008, location Bulatan Batu 6, Kuala Terengganu, dekat kampung aku jer. MBKT menurunkan bendera PAS dan berlakulah kekecohan..

Ini adalah pengamatan aku terhadap beberapa kejadian panas di negeri Terengganu, negeri panas yang masing-masing nak concour, samaada PAS atau BN/UMNO. Setakat ini dah 13 report yang dilaporkan kepada pihak polis berkenaan dengan pilihanraya ke 12.

.. kenapa semua ini berlaku? Mesti ada sebabnya.. think think think.

Semalam Dato Nik Aziz dilapor mengeluarkan kenyataan yang menyamakan anggota Umno komponen utama Barisan Nasional dengan Orang Utan kerana kononnya menolak Islam dan Al-Quran serta tidak tahu undang-undang.

“Jangan samakan daku..”

Kenyataan beliau itu mendapat perhatian dari para pemimpin tertinggi UMNO.
